Details

This waterfall has it all! A large stream, a huge overhang, deep plunge pool, wonderful examples of the conjugate joint system found in the Ithaca area, and perfect textbook form showing a harder layer of Tully Limestone undercut when the stream erodes the softer Moscow and Ludlowville shale layers below. Then add a secondary waterfall with a spectacular jet shooting out 30 feet out from the wall.

This waterfall is photogenic in both low water and high water. However, in high water, the mist can be problematic.
